The vintage movie poster of Scarface was unique.Īfter watching the 1931 version film, Pacino became interested in it and decided to remake the movie with producer Martin Bregman. The cast also features Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Steven Bauer, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Robert Loggia as some of the important characters.

It was an official remake of a 1931 film that tells the story of a Cuban refugee. The story was written by Oliver Stone, produced by Martin Bregman, and distributed under Universal Pictures label. Scarface, an American crime drama film directed by Brian De Palma, was released in 1983.
